The NoHatePolice project is dedicated to providing comprehensive training for police officers in Greece and Cyprus. Our goal is to enhance the ability of police officers, commanders, cadets, and investigators to recognize and respond to hate incidents. We plan to achieve this by conducting a series of 20 seminars, with an expected participation of 400 individuals across different police functions. Hate crimes are a serious problem throughout the EU. They threaten the security not only of individuals, but of society at large, since they often spark broader violence and conflict.<\/p>\n
The purpose of the project is to build the capacity of police forces to successfully combat hate speech and hate crime, in Greece and in Cyprus.
